The high-grade, thick aluminum plate is richly-anodized in gold. The black-anodized, CNC-machined aluminum gimbal cup that can hold a light rod, comes with a stainless cross-pin that swivels up and down to securely hold gimbaled rod butts and eliminate rod torque. Bonded, closed-cell polyurethane foam back pad is durable, comfortable and very light weight. The nylon belt easily adjusts to fit waist sizes from 28 50 with hook-and-loop fasteners.
