Looking to change the handle on your Shimano Tranx Reel? This Shimano Tranx PowerHandle is OEM and is made to fit all Tranx 300A and 400A size reels. This handle fits the Tranx 300, 301, 300HG, 301HG, 400, 401, 400HG, 401HG.

This Shimano made handle is easy to replace, justremoveyour existing nut lock screw, the nut lock plate, and the chrome nut. Remove your existing handle and replace it with the new handle. Be careful that the drag star doesn’t pop off, it has a spring under it which gives itpressure from below. Replace the parts you took offmaking sure not toover tighten the chrome nut. The nut lockplate might take a little adjustment so the plate nut screw lines up with the screw hole.

The paddlehandle version is a double handleto give youbetter balance and more refinedretrievesfor fishing many types of lures. The paddlehandle works best when working lures or when you just don’t need the larger power handle. We find the paddle handle has better balance but not as much torque.
