The grip also includes a bottom piece with a switch, and can therefore be charged with the original charger. The durable construction provides good protection against shocks and bangs.

The best possible battery performance is ensured by an overheating protection and a protection circuit that prevents overcharging and self-discharge. The Li-Ion battery does not have a harmful so-called charging memory effect, so charging goes smoothly.

The very low self-discharge rate means that the battery can be stored unused for a very long time. Perfect to have on hand if the battery consumption is high, e.g. if the lamp is used for long periods at the maximum setting.
