A simple but effective way of holding a beach rod upright on a sandy beach. Ideal for flat sandy beaches where the rising or falling tide forces you to move frequently and makes a tripod unwieldy.
Push the spike into the beach at an angle using the rod cup for additional force if required.Put the rod butt in the cup and rest the rod on the upper holder.
