The Xtreme Composite Rail Rods are an anomaly. They are a complete departure from the other blanks on the market designed for the same use. These purpose built rods have a smaller tip, more recoil and more lifting power. These new designs are in the form of 5 new 76 models. Each of the new blanks is actually different from the original 7 models. The patterning and tooling were changed to allow for a slightly different action to accommodate the angler at a slightly longer length. These models have become the go-to for big tuna fishing on long-range boats.
